You can get
assistance for solarthermal plants from the PROSOL Program specified
in the regulation of 11.april 2007 (Orden de Incentivo del 11.Abril
2007). Also you can get financial assistance for the installation
of solar power plants. The amount lies between 30 - 50% of the installation
costs.
In addition the electricity of renewable sources can be sold, by
feeding it into the existing energy grid (under European law).
Normally the installation companies apply for the subsidy on your
behalf. Please note that the installation must be done by an authorized
company if you want to receive this subsidy. These companies were
formally elected and generally are more expensive than "unauthorized
companies". In the province of Granada there are nearly 50
authorized companies.
The most important Institutiones supporting
and financing such installations are
AAE
(Agencia Andaluza de la Energía) and the AEG
(Agencia Provincial de la Energía de Granada) with offices
in Granada.
The AAE works under the Andalusian federal state government and
the Andalusian Institute for Regional Development (Program PROSOL).
This program will promote the high potential of renewable energies
in Andalucia, i.e. the use of wind, sun, water and biomass.
The IDAE Institut (Instituto para la Diversificación y Ahorro
de la Energía with offices in Madrid), supports solar projects
financially and coordinates the feeding of renewable energy sources
into the electricity grid.
For Solarthermal plants one can receive a
subsidy for the installations of between 30% and 50%. This depends
on the type of project.
Also for solar power plants one can receive a subsidy for the installations
of between 30% and 50%.
Financially quite interesting is to sell
electricity generated from renovable energies:
For installationes smaller than 100 kW: Fixed
price (tarifa regulada) of 0,44 € / kWh
For installationes from 100 kW to 10MW: Fixed price (tarifa regulada)
of 0,42 € / kWh
For installationes bigger than 10MW: Fixed price (tarifa regulada)
of 0,22 € / kWh
Because funding fluctuates and every installation is unique,
subsidies vary. Therefore it is difficult to give general information.
